In NC, votes don't matter for Dems

Source: WRAL

Thousands of North Carolina ballots in the 2024 election might have been counted illegally, the state Court of Appeals ruled Friday in a case that could determine the outcome of last year’s election for an open seat on the North Carolina Supreme Court.

If the ruling stands, the State Board of Elections would be required to ask more than 60,000 voters to provide proof of their identity. Anyone who doesn’t respond will have their ballot thrown out — an outcome that could tilt the narrow race for the high-court seat in favor of the Republican candidate, Jefferson Griffin, who challenged the ballots.

SIXTY FIVE THOUSAND after-the-fact citizenship checks, and vote is thrown out if people don't respond? Are you fucking kidding me?

Allison Riggs, the Democrat, is already on the NC Supreme Court. She was appointed by Cooper to finish a term in 2023.

This whole thing is ridiculous. As far as I know, this has never been done before - changing the rules for an election AFTER the election has taken place. The 65,000 voters whose ballots were questioned risk not having their votes counted in this ONE race, while their votes in other races that have been certified WILL be counted. Makes no sense.

If Griffin wins this seat, the NC Supreme Court will be 6 - 1 conservative, and we will continue to be fucked here in NC.

Either a vote counts or it doesn't. How can you pick and choose? Or even change things way....way....way after the fact.

They should appeal the ruling for sure
