JD Vance will serve as RNC finance chair

JD Vance will assume a key fundraising role in the Republican National Committee, the organization announced Monday. The vice president will serve as the committee’s next finance chair, a position that charges Vance with securing donations and charting the party’s path ahead of the 2026 midterms.

Vance, who could run for president in 2028 since President Donald Trump is term-limited, is the first sitting vice president to assume the role. “Last year, President Trump won [a] historic election victory, taking back the White House and helping Republicans regain control of the Senate and retain control of the House,” said Vance. “But to fully enact the MAGA mandate and President Trump’s vision that voters demanded, we must keep and grow our Republican majorities in 2026.” His latest position comes at a possible inflection point for Republicans.

A Quinnipiac University poll released last week showed that over half of voters believed the Department of Government Efficiency, which President Donald Trump has charged with paring down government spending, is harming the country. DOGE has nixed tens of thousands of government jobs, and those cuts are beginning to materialize in real-life consequences like diminished services at public parks, prompting angry constituents to storm a handful of town halls across the country.

The Trump administration has also roiled business executives in the past weeks because of its tariffs against goods sourced from Canada, Mexico and China, prompting a major market tumble in the past week as Wall Street braces for economic uncertainty.

JV Dance gets a strictly political party position to officially extort people for support.

“I think it’s disrespectful for you to come to the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media,” Dance once famously said. “Have you said thank you once?”

Dance has figured out his own particular trademark grift.

"How much do you thank him?" he'll ask.

JV Dance can't refrain from attack mode, and he has a different billionaire's hand up his butt.
