'Deep State Asset!' MAGA-World Erupts Over Rare John Roberts Rebuke of Trump

President Donald Trump’s biggest fans were rather vexed by Chief Justice John Roberts’s rebuke of Trump on Tuesday. On Tuesday morning, Trump endorsed an effort to impeach U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg over his order that the Trump administration stop deporting migrants under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act, writing on Truth Social:

This Radical Left Lunatic of a Judge, a troublemaker and agitator who was sadly appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, was not elected President – He didn’t WIN the popular VOTE (by a lot!), he didn’t WIN ALL SEVEN SWING STATES, he didn’t WIN 2,750 to 525 Counties, HE DIDN’T WIN ANYTHING! I WON FOR MANY REASONS, IN AN OVERWHELMING MANDATE, BUT FIGHTING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MAY HAVE BEEN THE NUMBER ONE REASON FOR THIS HISTORIC VICTORY. I’m just doing what the VOTERS wanted me to do. This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges’ I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!! WE DON’T WANT VICIOUS, VIOLENT, AND DEMENTED CRIMINALS, MANY OF THEM DERANGED MURDERERS, IN OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

In a rare statement issued later that same day, Roberts wrote “For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision. The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.”

MAGA-world did not take kindly to Roberts’s reminder to the president. “This unbridled arrogance from Roberts is the precise reason judicial impeachment is now being demanded for rogue judges,” insisted The Federalist’s Sean Davis. “The more he acts like a craven politician, the more we are going to treat him like one.”

The chief justice of the US Supreme Court has released a rare statement in response to President Donald Trump's call to impeach a judge who ruled against his administration over migrant deportations.

Trump may not be able to impeach and remove Roberts, Barrett, or the more liberal Justices, but he can override them by packing the Court.
