Federal health officials announced Friday they are providing $72 million to vaccine manufacturers to help ensure currently available bird flu vaccines are ready-to-use, if needed.

There are currently no recommendations for anyone in the U.S. to be vaccinated against bird flu, but officials from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) noted this is being done out of "an abundance of caution."...................

..............."Although the risk to Americans from influenza A (H5) virus infection remains low, we're leaning forward with our preparedness efforts," Dr. Gary Disbrow, director and deputy assistant secretary for preparedness and response at the HHS' Center for the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA, said in a statement.

"As influenza A(H5) virus infections in domesticated animals continue to spread, the risk for human infection could rise. In an abundance of caution, we are taking steps to increase the amount of vaccine that could be immediately available if needed," the statement continued.

the more anti-vaxers now, the fewer anti-vaxers later."

My goal since the COVID vax lies took MAGAts over was to go with that and try and antagonize, taunt and ridicule them so they dig in their heels and would rather die than ever get another vaccine. It might work.

The data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed how many children met school requirements for the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine; the diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis (DTaP) vaccine; the poliovirus (polio) vaccine; and the varicella (chickenpox) vaccine.

Vaccination coverage among kindergartners in the U.S. decreased for all reported vaccines, the CDC found. For the MMR vaccine, coverage fell from 93.1% during the 2022-23 school year to 92.7% during the 2023-24 school year while DTaP vaccination coverage dropped from 92.7% to 92.3% over the same period.............

On one hand, I don’t give a tinker’s damn about them dying because of their ignorance. On the other hand, they put the rest of us at risk by spreading disease among those who are immuno compromised and smarter. Therefore, I do want them to get vaccinated. To protect the non-stupid.
