❌👑 No Kings 3 was the largest day of protest in US history. Here's what comes next. --- Indivisible

Short version.

For full details, see:

https://indivisible.actionkit.com/mailings/view/125054

How we welcome those folks into our movement and turn the momentum of No Kings Day into sustained, powerful, disruptive resistance will be the subject of a coalition-wide Mass Call on Tuesday night. Join us if you can, at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.

(If you can’t attend live, (or you don't care for the privacy/data collection --Usonian) no worries -- the call will be recorded).

Tuesday’s call will be about what’s next after today’s historic day of action and focus on two major initiatives:

1. Nationwide organizing meetings to welcome protesters into ongoing political organizing. We’ll be launching nationwide community meetings -- hosted by protest organizers and attendees -- to help people politically awakened by No Kings get involved with sustained local actions around ICE monitoring, election protection, and noncooperation. They’ll be a great way to connect folks with Indivisible groups and existing networks and foster new groups and leadership building.

2. Gearing up for a national day of economic disruption on May Day. We always say mass mobilizations are just one tactic. Economic disruption is another tactic. And it’s most successful when you’ve done the work to build a large, broad-based coalition of folks ready for higher-level actions. So now, the ground is laid for May Day Strong’s national day of “No school, no work, no shopping” to put the oligarchs enabling Trump’s power grabs on notice.

Join the No Kings Coalition’s Mass Call on Tuesday to learn more about how we’re going to continue building power and defying Trump’s authoritarian agenda after today’s historic protests.

(If you can’t attend live, (or you don't care for the privacy/data collection --Usonian) no worries -- the call will be recorded).

More emphasis on the "National Day of Economic Disruption" would be extremely powerful.

Sci-Fi writers were right.

We are in a time machine right now in the 1930's with a chance to stop Hitler (or his reincarnation)
Do or die.
It's that simple.

Don't wait until it's too late.

I would love to see our country defined by different values than just the "we're the richest country in the world with the biggest military". Let's stop the glorification of recreational shopping and conspicuous consumption. We're destroying our planet, the more we have the less content we are and our relationships have never been worse because we're all so busy chasing the next shiny object. We are propping the oligarchs up with our daily purchasing of crap we don't need, sometimes can't afford, and tire of in a short period of time.
