Would be interesting to find out if they tear down a wall or two to cover up the fact that one of the rooms may have been used to monitor recordings that were taking place in the house. If visitors came to talk to Mitchell, their conversations may have been compromised.

So, spackling would be needed to cover the holes from removing the bugs as would adding a door or two to a room that might have been used for monitoring purposes.
