"The center “is dedicated to the study and appreciation of Western civilization and the American ideals of free inquiry, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and freedom of association,” the center’s about page states."

Many colleges and universities had those themes, namely LIBERAL ARTS AND THE HUMANITIES *, but they have been forsaken for programs that are marketable in future employment. When I attended a small independent liberal arts college, we managed to survive with the inclusion of women's studies, African-American studies, and Asian studies.

“The Washington Center will ensure that the values that made America great are taught with not only honesty, but a sense of pride.”

Unfortunately, many things that made America "great" shouldn't be taught with pride. I mean, if they really want to be honest.

Our history is a checkered past. That's the reality that should be taught. You don't get to the proper balance of facts otherwise.

They are a bellowing minority, hell-bent on imposing their beliefs on the entire country.

to give classes to RNs about to take their board exams. Through the years she has made friendships with the staff at all the unis she has been to. The poor dumb politicians of WV have no clue how smart and woke the educated youth of WV are these days. Yes, the old pols still hold the reins, but things are changing. WV is a beautiful state, almost heaven, for certain. It’s high time the devils who exploited and ruined it were driven out, Republicans and Democrats alike.
