I think it is most likely he did not. But I am at least around 20% that he did to 80% he didn't. Sometimes it goes to 30%.
I sometimes think Musk might have fu*&ed around enough to give him the edge in all the swing States.
How about you all, anybody certain one way or another?

(56,283 posts)We committed our own errors, in both the Biden debate prep, and the Harris campaign. Dem strategists and pollsters were trying to repeat 2020, in ECV. I got tired of hearing how close things were, and I'd rather be us than them. She threw everything at him in debates. He absorbed it all and never flinched. I think we were strident. It didn't inspire confidence.

(2,259 posts)All the available evidence from polls, to election audits, to the failsafes put into place, to the Democratic officials, to the Harris campaign not saying anything about a stolen election, to all of the claimed evidence like over 100% voting turnouts end up being false all points to that the election was fair in terms of counting votes cast.
Republicans definitely try to make voting harder, but that's not cheating in the sense of changing votes and is itself inferential that voting matters.

(5,036 posts)Facebook illegally provided Cambridge Analytica with private user information. CA used it to micro-target political ads in key electoral college areas. It was enough to swing the election.
Facebook/Zuck was charged, tried, and convicted. He got a dazzling fine of ~30k. Then made billions from Trump. Quite a ROI. This is why I despise all things zuck/meta/facebook. He gifted us our long national nightmare, more than any other single person. He hurt us worse than Putin.
Musk did something similar in '24. I was too depressed to follow election news, so I don't know details. But it looks like Mucks is set to be our despot, with rodeo clowns in the White House and Congress to distract our attention from him.

You use 100% too loosely. Unless you saw some hard evidence yourself, it's not 100%. What Trump and Musk say on this isn't facts.

(24,417 posts)2024 election denialism is as evidence free and kooky CT nonsense as 2020 election denialism, and does absolutely NOTHING to help us resist the current regime and take back the house and senate in 2026 and the White House in 2028.
It is a faulty coping mechanism, used to avoid the painful emotions of a very real loss at the polls.
Also, 9 million fewer people showed up at the polls.
Its that simple.

(22,983 posts)No credible evidence has been presented, most just people saying he or Musk cheated somehow.
The argument that there is no way he could have won all of the swing states continues to ignore the polls leading into the election that showed he was ahead in all of the swing states.
At the time we said it was impossible for him to be leading in all of the states so the polls must be wrong. After he won all of the swing states we say it was impossible so that is evidence of stealing the election.

(3,526 posts)Believing that he stole the election and clinging to the kooky nonsense that gets presented as "proof" means that one must necessarily also believe that the entire Democratic Party, from Joe Biden on down, was too timid, too stupid, or too complicit to say a word. One must necessarily believe that Kamala Harris herself, after repeatedly and correctly warning that Trump is an existential threat to American democracy, meekly stepped aside even though the election was so obviously, blatantly stolen.
I've pointed this out numerous times to challenge people who make the assertion that Trump clearly stole the 2024 election and not one of them has ever responded, to the best of my recollection.
I get that watching the 2024 election play out was traumatic and that every hour of Trump's second term has been torture but desperately clinging to kooky nonsense that's been repeatedly disproven is not helpful. In fact, it's actively harmful to our chances in 2026 and beyond because if the election was stolen, we didn't do anything wrong and therefore we don't need to take a long, hard look at how we did things and learn from our mistakes. There are lessons to be learned from every electoral loss and refusing to even believe we lost makes it damned hard to learn said lessons.
But copium is sadly an extremely addictive substance, so here we are.

(327 posts)Georgia had electronic voting with no paper trails to audit and the Republicans always won. Now we have paper trails, it's most likely why they keep saying it, but not proving it and why the Democrats win some there. This literally could be why they want to "seize" the ballots so catching them cheating, will be unprovable.

(55,287 posts)pushing of their evidence-free BlueAnon fever dreams are, by logical extension, attacking the Biden administration and the Harris campaign, as if the CT-pushers' theories are true, then either Biden and/or Harris were extraordinarily, jaw-droppingly inept and/or were in on the fix.

(2,152 posts)Ill hedge and give you a range .
We already know Trump attempted to steal an election. He tried in Georgia, and he tried to stop the certification and basically tried to pull a coup. The question isnt motive or even intent, its a matter of capability and competence.
This is where they failed. Over and over again. Even Musks wealth isnt enough to pull this sort of thing off. The elections in this country are very decentralized, so pulling something like this off takes the kind of coordination that puts to shame even sending privately owned rockets to space. Besides, Musk also frequently over promises and slips on timelines. Look what shit show DOGE was. Hes not that brilliant.
In short its very unlikely they stole this through starlink or whatever other nonsense I see frequently concocted. Im convinced a lot of people coming up with these theories havent even the basic idea of what starlink does or its capabilities. Every other proof also falls apart upon even the slightest bit of scrutiny. Its the saddest kind of copium to be honest.
Sometimes these CTs are pretty entertaining so Ill give them that.
