The "Female Loneliness" Epidemic
Sometimes I'm lonely because two of my closest friends live in different times zones, (It's the middle of the night in Melbourne), but I'm not desperate enough to take on someone else's baggage in addition to my own just so that I can have someone to talk at me and find fault in most everything I do.
The "female loneliness epidemic" might be the worst marketing campaign in history.

Not all women must have a man in their life every day of every year of their life. If they have someone, great, but otherwise, women are not automatically going to suffer paralyzing loneliness. Especially those who follow their interests, surround themselves with friends, stay active, and most of all (IMO) do the latter with a beloved pet.
