They made our women's team the butt of a classless fucking joke. They aligned with an aggressive far right policy of division, cruelty and hatred. The American people don't like it. We don't like to see you partying with the people murdering American's in the streets, destroying our constitution, etc. etc.. We don't like it.

The NHL has a motto, "hockey is for everyone". All three of my kids played hockey, one played college hockey (the youngest could have but he was a dink) and most importantly MY DAUGHTER played hockey and I was honored to have coached her girls team two years. Best times of my life. I miss all those girls, who are women now and would do anything to get back any one day coaching them in practice or games.

I have a family video I made when my daughter graduated high school and my wife videoed me on the bench standing there with our daughter sitting down beside me. I was just there, watching the game, acting like I was Stan Bowman trying to sort our the other team's forecheck. She and I were alone there on the bench and I wish I could have leaned down at that moment and said, "im having so much fun coaching you and your team and I love you...now go kick some ass".

I didn't. And maybe that's why I am defensive, But YOU DO NOT fuck with my lady hockey players. And the MENS team let our women down (and what MORON said "close the Northern border"? I wonder). For that they have a long road to hoe to get back into my good graces.
