(14,677 posts)Movie made outside Evan City Pa....I grew up down the road from there in Mars, Pa....One day, we kids road our bikes up to a filming day...hid in the bushes....hahaha

(14,677 posts)We were excited and scared being at the grave yard and zombies on the loose...hahaha...they were polite....we didn't stay too long....
When the movie came out....it all made more sense.....then we knew how cool the experience was...

(14,677 posts)My favorite TV series is "The Walking Dead."... I still watch it almost weekly....YouTube TV has is on 24/7 with AMC Universe..... I bet that experience back as a kid stuck with me.....
Greg Nicotero, make-up guy for Walking Dead...he came from Penn Hills Pa...about 15 miles from where it was made and attended Carnegie...He also worked on one of the sequels, " Day of the Dead." with George Romero. ..
