Will Bunch is thinking of heading to Lowe's for a pitchfork after seeing who was at Trump dinner for Saudi crown prince

Here's the full list of all the CEOs and Bill Ackman-types who were delighted to dine with two murderers, MBS (Khashoggi, etc.) and Trump (boats, USAID, etc.)

While you read this, I'm heading to Lowe's to see if they have any pitchforks left www.nytimes.com/2025/11/18/u...

Will Bunch (@willbunch.bsky.social) 2025-11-19T12:42:11.061Z

Who was there, in the order the Times listed them:

Cristiano Ronaldo, the soccer star who's the highest-paid player in the Saudi Pro League

Gianni Infantino, head of FIFA

Elon Musk

Tim Cook

Michael Dell

Jensen Huang of Nvidia

Linda Su of AMD

David Ellison of Paramount

Mike Wirth of Chevron

Jane Fraser of Citi

Stephen A. Schwarzman of Blackstone

Brendan Bechtel

Mary Barra of GM

William Clay Ford Jr.

Donald Trump Jr., who claimed after Khashoggi was tortured and murdered that he'd been a terrorist sympathizer

Dina Powell McCormick, head of head of global client services at BDT & MSD Partners, a merchant bank and investment firm, and GOP Senator Dave McCormick

Of course no one is really going after pitchforks.

But the willingness of these guests to accept invitations to that dinner and do business with people they know are guilty of murder shows their lack of ethics.

Trump has ordered the murder of Venezuelans by blasting them to smithereens, just as MBS ordered Khashoggi’s murder. The only difference between them is that MBS murdered one of his own citizens while Trump is murdering citizens of another country. Trump just hasn’t yet figured out how to murder US citizens and get away with it.

Well, Trump ramped up federal executions, breaking a moratorium on federal executions, during the run up to the 2020 elections in order to gin up support among his base. In my opinion this is the presidential equivalent of shooting someone on 5th Avenue.

So just remember this, the next time one of these assholes or their companies talks about DEI, environmental justice, or some other feel good topic. They really don't care and its just lip service.

it is almost impossible to live and function in today’s society without supporting these murderers. You can’t own a cell phone without patronizing one of them. It is difficult to own a car or to fuel it without patronizing one of them. It is almost impossible to own a computer, through which we all interface with the world, without patronizing them.

I would happily boycott, but it is almost impossible to boycott all of these quislings and be able to live in the world today.

Bike a little more, and drive a little less. Preserve your phones a little more, and extend their lives so you don't have to buy them as often. Stay off of Facebook and X. Shop locally and avoid the mega-corporations, especially Amazon.

Even a few dollars add up to big sums if we all work together at it.

IPhoneys and Apple products.

I know a number of Apple owners who have literally shit their pants over Walmart and other corporations caving to trump. But they never once wanted mentioned to boycott their Iphoneys even though Apple screws it's customers with a new phone you MUST get every couple years for insane prices (though not at the maximum fee! Hah!)
