More on graham platner "American farmer. nazi tattoos. blackwater.

misogynist, racist and homophobic posts. I checked his brief/slanted bio in wiki Whoever did it did a really good slant job. One would not know he came from money. Several things struck me, though. Opposed to conflicts, yet joined up because he "read too much hemingway". Married for first time last year at age 40 (may not mean anything, or like a set-up for a political run). But the one that really got me was him woking for about six months in Afghanistan with constellis (formerly blackwater).

What a pain he would have been. Think Sinema or Fetterman.

Lets push for Janet Mills. Where can I donate to her campaign.

I ask in all seriousness because my husband, who is the intuitive one in the family, said that straight off when he saw Platner’s commercial. Clearly some vibe, but in the moment I didn’t get a chance to follow up…

9. Fetterman is a Democrat but misunderstood

not misunderstood in the sense that he is viewed unfairly but more that people thought he was something that he never was on certain things like his position on Israel.

I do think his health issues and Republicans winning Pennsylvania last year in presidential and Senate races has influenced him but that's true of other Democrats from purple states.

But this guy running in Maine is something else . There is a chance he might have had a change in views but if that was true it would be better to just present himself that way. He might not get support right away and especially for Senate. But start at the
local level and build up trust and support for a future run at higher office.

I never heard of him either but learning about him on DU. Sounds as though this guy has a lot of skeletons in his closet.
