For all intents and purposes, we have no Congress.

Although they are not in session, even if they were, they would not be representing the people that sent them to Washington. They are there to support one man only. They will only do what he wants them to do. And they will do nothing that he does not approve first.

But, somebody has to tell him "No!" You are not going to build a ballroom as you planned. You tore down an historic part of our history and that cannot ever be forgiven. You will not be rewarded with a ballroom with your name on it.

Somebody has to say it.

His Big Ugly Death Bill.

Chuck Schumer made a huge mistake back in March voting for the CR.

Democrats could have held out until our social safety net was protected, now, they can only hold out for reimbursements for Obamacare.

The gutting of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, the VA is now a law, good luck undoing a law.

At some point we’re going to have to start wondering if both Republicans AND the Democrats in Congress all have the same agenda unless they do something to prove differently soon.

I will give them credit for finally hearing us and acting in ways to get truth out and to stand against the GOP cowards.

Money is always king.

FDR kept that sloppy economic system patch together with string and baling twine. But we allowed those weak supports to be removed thanks to Reagan and the bushes. Even Clinton signed the repeal of the Glass-Steagall act. So everyone was on board dismantling the supports placed on our economy after the Republican Great Depression.

So then we got vulture capitalism which led to end stage capitalism, which led to an oligarchy that gave us a King.

Capitalism and democracy are not compatible.

Maybe we should encourage them to build faster so we can have his trial and execution televised from the scene of the crime. Frogmarched from the Oval to the parapet and the hangman's noose for all to witness. I'll try not to be too overtly happy and tamp down the urge to burst into song...
