He pisses me off i voted for this Neocon. I almost feel gullible like MAGA in buying Fetterman bull shit.

(1,659 posts)BUH bye John...we hardly knew ye. He might lose the rest of what's left of his mind and maybe Shapiro can appoint someone else who has the energy to not only represent Pennsylvanians well but also not dress like a slob every day.

(98,336 posts)Beyond this term. I hope there are decent challengers.

(59,196 posts)I hope he has the presence of mind to realize that his term in the Senate is not going as smoothly as he probably originally imagined. I hope he decides to retire from the Senate on his own. He brings too much unwelcome, distracting baggage for a difficult re-election campaign in a swing state. Id hope he hears the music, and bows out gracefully.

Who knows, hope he decides he should do something else.

(3,315 posts)All Fetterman had was Bernie's endorsement and not wearing a suit. DU and a majority of Pennsylvania voters put him in the Senate.
Now he wears suits. Honestly, I have no idea if Bernie is going to endorse him again. Having a Nazi tattoo isn't a deal breaker for Bernie. So, Fetterman being a lapdog to Netanyahu might not be a deal breaker.
Cha
(315,216 posts)of course, got called out for him being a Centrist and JF being "so progressive".

(19,001 posts)I've seen people who, after a stroke, have had a complete personality change.
I think that's what happened. He's not who he used to be.

(30,213 posts)I also gave him money and pushed for him over Lamb.
Moderate Dems didnt want him because he was too progressive and then he finds a home with fascists, something in his brain was affected.

(31,829 posts)He'd done entirely too much damage to Democrats for me to feel any sympathy for him. Pennsylvania needs to replace him just as soon as possible.
BlueWaveNeverEnd
(11,807 posts)he holds a 41 point net approval rating among Republicans, while holding a 21 point net disapproval rating from fellow Democrats. Independents were split 43% to 43%.

Yeah Fetterman has turned into a royal disappointment. I supported, donated and voted for the man, only to watch him squander a great opportunity to do some good for Pennsylvanians and the country at large. I did not foresee the Joe Manchin streak.
Fool me once, as they say.

(13,386 posts)True, an honest to goodness liberal Democrat would be far better, but sometimes we have to settle for the lesser of 2 evils.
In the primary I'll support the best candidate whose name isn't Fetterman. But in the general election, if Fetterman somehow is the nominee again, I'll hold my nose and support him.

Either that stroke changed him, or he was

(78,122 posts)I have a strong dislike for him. He had potential, but my cousin -- who has known him for many years -- told me he has been very different since his stroke. And that happens. But he is no longer on our side. I advocate sending monopoly money to his campaign.
