Lord of the Flies or The Raft of the Medusa....

The GOP infighting and the plight of the immigrants
and most vulnerable is going to get much worse
before it gets better (if it ever does, and that's iffy).

I could actually see us as cannibals and corpses
aban,doned on a raft as the ship of state sinks.

It's already happening in a way, and with Trump
as captain... well... you get the drift.

I can imagine surviving a ship’s sinking, swimming to a life raft, pulling myself up alone, and the surprise at the sight of Capt. Orange Biff Medusa as I turn to stone. Wow!
