Anonymous video claims Melbourne arson attack on Israel-linked company, threatens workers

An anonymous figure has claimed responsibility for the torching of several cars earlier this month at an Australian engineering company in Melbourne, while threatening that its workers will be targeted if they continue to make weapons components that are used by Israel.

--snip--

“This was not an accident or thoughtless act of vandalism,” the figure said. “This is a serious threat.” It said Lovitt, which specializes in precision engineering, was targeted because it was the first Australian producer of parts for the F-35 jet, “proudly deployed in service to colonialism and imperialism” by the US, Israel, Australia, and the UK.

The figure accused “every worker” at Lovitt Technologies of complicity in “genocide” in Gaza.“We will decide your fate, as you have decided the fate of millions,” the figure said. “For the past few months, we have been closely watching you. We have your addresses.” “All the information we have about you will be distributed to our underground networks,” the figure said. “Stop arming Israel or else.”

“Consider this a warning.”

Acts of wanton vandalism and declared stalking, followed by overt "serious" threats of indiscriminate felonious assaults. And note the rhetoric straight out of the list of obligatory accusations from the radical left, this time leveled directly against the working people of Melbourne: "colonialism", "imperialism", "genocide".

Or else. Consider it a warning.

Is this "progressive"? Does this not deserve a word of unconditional condemnation by any self-respecting democrat?

Israeli settlers killed a 20-year-old Palestinian-American man in the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health and an eyewitness, as settler violence against Palestinians ramps up in the occupied territory.

Twenty-year-old Sayfollah Musallet “was martyred after being severely beaten all over his body by settlers in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah,” the health ministry said in a statement on Friday.

The municipality of Sinjel said that Musallet died following a “barbaric attack” carried out by settlers as part of “daily assaults” on local residents. It alleged Israeli forces stormed the area at the same time as the settlers’ attack, obstructing the work of paramedics and volunteers.

A friend of the deceased man’s family told CNN he was with Musallet and took him to a hospital in Ramallah, adding the young man was an American citizen born in Tampa, Florida.

If Democrats are supposed to condemn something done in Australia, does this mean Lovitt Technologies is going to condemn settler killings of Palestinian-Americans in the West Bank?

But if you wanted to post it again, it would have been less awkward if you made it a separate thread rather than a response to the OP.

As a response to the OP, it creates an optic that you have no intention to either condemn the incident or even acknowledge its significance.
