As the Reich-Wing SCOTUS once again shits on our Constitution today, this needs to be seriously pondered IMHO

With the exception of the people are citizens because they were born overseas to US citizens (in particular, active US Service Members and Diplomats), the reason EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US (who is a US citizen) IS a 'US Citizen' ... is because of 'Birthright Citizenship' (or Naturalization, of course). And even in those cases, 99% of the time, the reason the 'parents' described above are citizens is because of Birthright Citizenship.

Literally if it were to be declared 'void', as the Fascist in Chief is dead set on accomplishing, EVERYone in the USA could be subject to potential deportation, at the hands of the roaming, heavily-armed, extra-judicial, unidentifiable masked THUGS known as "ICE", aka POTUS' Brownshirts, who now operate based on his whims.

Nobody is officially a citizen for any other reason, unless you're one of the few described above ... and maybe some other cases I'm aware or sure of like Native peoples, maybe? Or: you're a naturalized citizen.

Imagine Joe MASA's dismay when this thing he's cheering for actually means he's less of a citizen than the Latino family down the street who went through the naturalization process. That'll be a hoot.

To put it in magaese, we don’t care where you were born because we are patriotic Christian conservatives, we don’t like you (for whatever reason president miller says and you are going to El Salvador.). Knowing and following and abiding by the constitution and respecting the rights of others is just too fucking hard for Republican Nazis and their conservative values.

And the supremos are handing them the tools to get away with anything.

The 14th amendment is pretty clear on the birthright thing, but if the procedure is sell them into slavery in South Sudan first and let them sue later, then the constitution doesn't mean much, does it.
