As always, I'm unsure about which forum to use, but hopefully, this is it.

It is a response to another post in GD, so hopefully it's OK.

This man was relating a little anecdote about him and his 4-year old daughter, about to get in their car. The little girl was having trouble with the door handle, because it's a car door, not made to spring open easily, and she is quite short. On her tip-toes and with every bit of her 4-year old strength, she manages to open the door.

The little girl says "Thank you, daddy."

Confused, the man asks "What are you thanking me for?"

"For believing in me."

He concludes with "Then, it was raining on my face."
