"Hegseth 'unaware' of intelligence that says Iran moved uranium ahead of strikes"

This is the headline from an article from the news site AlArabiya dated 06/26/25 and sourcing from Reuters. Apparently "Dry Heaves" Hegseth was asked about the photos the entire world has seen by now that show a column of trucks moving along by the Fordow site. The article quotes Hegseth:

“I’m not aware of any intelligence that I’ve reviewed that says things were not where they were supposed to be, moved or otherwise," Hegseth said."

Now this line of "I'm unaware" about things has become something of a mantra by officials under Crumb the 1st. "$25,000.00" Bondi wasn't aware of ICE-American Gestapo agents wearing masks despite nonstop images being in the media 24/7 for months and despite Homan The Barbarian and "My Kingdom for a Costume" Noem specifically talking about it in the media. But in the case of Hegseth it is at least an easier sell since out of all of the main appointments by Crumb The 1st Hegseth is easily the most dull and ignorant.

However in his sentence, like most who use weasel words, is the important words that the media will gloss over and never catch on to and heaven forbid ever have the journalistic integrity to challenge to his face. Those words are "intelligence that I've reviewed". So there is the weasel angle. Hegseth can just belch later and say "I never said it didn't happen. I just said I hadn't reviewed it." You can be sure that nobody currently asking questions of these people is going to say "But these pictures were all over the media. Shouldn't you have begun a review immediately?"

But of course the messy details were getting in the way of the glorification of Crumb the 1st and like clockwork that had to be blamed on the media of course:

"Hegseth’s comments denying those claims came at a news briefing where he accused the media of downplaying the success of US strikes on Iran’s nuclear program following a leaked, preliminary assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency suggesting they may have only set back Iran by months."

So this is the display of incompetence our European allies get treated to at a NATO meeting. It should make crystal clear to them that regrettably they can't possibly depend on anything close to a good outcome by relying upon this group in any way for anything. They don't need some convicted felon, serial philanderer and a Faux News media personality yelling at them about how much they should contribute of their GDP. They do need to forge a strategic plan for a new alliance that excludes the undependable United States. A wise long term defense strategy should not turn on which election cycle the US is in and whether the voters will choose racism, xenophobia and hate over competence.

The EU may have it's problems but in the end those nations would not be so ignorant as to select their head of defense from a propaganda network. They are also not ignorant enough to select as their countries leaders someone who is a constant liar, convicted felon, con man, deadbeat and serial assaulter of women. Boris was bad but not this bad. But this is the US and we'll always "show them" we can top that.
