Trumps Approval Ratings May Be About To Crater

First of all, the bombing of Iran is NOT popular. Initial polling:

CNN 44% Approve, 56% disapprove
CBS 44% Approve, 56% disapprove
YouGov 35% Approve, 53% disapprove
Ipsos 36% Approve, 45% disapprove
Quinnipiac 42% Approve, 51% disapprove

Then look at the recent polling on Trump's overall approval. Only Ipsos and YouGov polled anyone after the bombings took place and even for those, the vast majority of the polling was before the bombings.

Date Pollster Approve Disapprove
Jun 23 Ipsos 41% Approve, 57% Disapprove, -16% Net
Jun 23 YouGov 40% Approve, 54% Disapprove, -14% Net
Jun 20 American Research Group 38% Approve, 59% Disapprove, -21% Net
Jun 19 Gallup 40% Approve, 57% Disapprove, -17% Net

Once the events of the past week are factored in, I would expect the approval ratings to sink even further

They’ll make up some lie about whatever it is they don’t want to be associated with. It’s the Republican Way.

it's going to seriously damage your chances for re-election. Trump is already extremely unpopular across pretty much ALL issues, including immigration. People in remotely competitive districts who continue to support Trump no matter what are setting themselves to be "obliterated" (to use Trump's word) in the mid-terms.

13. Have any recent polls to back that up?

I read a recent AP article that interviewed 50 people that voted for Trump. They were all sticking with him, claiming his efforts would just take time. And, they are already primarying both Sen. Cassidy of Louisiana, and Thomas Massie. They are a well organized crime syndicate. It's simple. You don't cross the Don, or you pay for it.

14. Raymond Massie (sic)? Raymond Massey the actor died in 1983 (LOL)

You mean Thomas Massie. A primary challenge doesn't mean a loss. Cassidy isn't going to lose a primary and Massie won't either given his track record. He's breaking with Trump on issues he knows are unpopular with his constituents.

And you're completely ignoring what I actually said. I said Republicans will start caring if Trump's approval rating continues sinking. If Trump falls to 30% approval, people will be crawling over each other to run away from him.

In 2018, Trump's approval was at 39% in early September, Republicans ended up losing 40 House Seats. Trump's approval with Republicans has already dropped on all issues. Just wait until these people start losing their Medicaid coverage, inflation skyrockets and the country enters a recession. I guarantee once things start negatively hurting them directly, many will turn on him.

Most people pay little attention to the details/facts behind the headlines. They damn sure pay attention to their wallets. Ignoring tsf's incompetence won't be possible.

The stock market is being propped up by large tech companies and AI. The rest of the economy is not so rosy and I think shit is going to start getting real later in the year and into the midterms.
