I'm from NYC and the nearest explanation I've heard is that Cuomo directly appealed to labor households, but I don't know if I fully believe that so simply explains the precinct level results (or borough for that matter).
Interestingly, Lander seems to have won districts on the Upper West Side of Manhattan that are also cute and curious. I wonder how voters processed this choice, and how you all think/feel/intuit/perceive?

FWIW, my Hispanic Rep endorsed Cuomo. 🙄
And idk either re The Bronx voting.

(92,234 posts)I'm not familiar with nyc but I know he did well among black Hispanic and lower incomes so maybe those are a higher in that area.
