rent freezes, free bus routes, city run grocery store in each borough to compete & lower overall grocery prices not sure if that will work but those were basic parts of his platform. The national media & others tried to make a scandal over his foreign policy views but when it comes to local state or city level elections the candidates foreign policy views are the last thing on my mind.
