(2,601 posts)I think maybe the time has come for a truly "democratic militia", to stand in the gap between anonymous armed thugs trying to kidnap, and people who have been working here for years, are trying to obey the law, and have earned their citizenship. In any event, masked and un-identified thugs grabbing people off the street pushing them into unmarked vans is KIDNAPPING--- morally AND LEGALLY---
and those who are assaulted under such conditions are morally AND LEGALLY
entitled to employ DEADLY FORCE in defense of their own lives!
YES, they would probably be charged after doing so---
but I find it very difficult to imagine any Arizona jury of 12 actually CONVICTING them of any charge!
Since these thugs are targeting the immigration courts,
we don't have to guess where they will be....
I think they should be met with law-abiding citizens, who are ARMED
and have the intent of PREVENTING any such crimes being committed
by the anonymous, masked, warrantless THUGS...
If anyone ought to be arrested, it is the ICE agents
and those they seem to have employed to work for them

(58,381 posts)What I would like to see is a squad of these gangsters confronted by a vastly superior armed force, made to disarm and be subjugated to interrogation, and show legitimate, government-issued credentials proving they have a right to kidnap anyone they want anywhere in the country. Since they will have no such dox on them, they should be forced to reveal who organized them, who sent them, and under what/whose authority? My bet is that there will be a sudden strung of denials rihht up the chain of command. Who? Me? They dont work for me, and I didnt send them. They wont talk at first, but when they find themselves in custody on armed assault and kidnapping charges, with no white knights riding to the rescue to post bail, enough of them will crack. These are street thugs, not intelligence operatives who have received intensive training on how to withstand sophisticated interrogation.

And yes, it'll take several of them being arrested (or worse) to bring this simmering pot to a full boil.
