Lashing out

Apparently, trump is doing that. Shocking, huh?

Of all the stale stupid phrases the corporate media ONLY uses for trump, this is the most irritating. They've used it since the beginning of his first term to describe all kinds of abnormal, dysfunctional behavior. It was one of their first steps to normalize him. It's an oldie but a goodie that they are NEVER going to give up.

Actually saw it in a chyron on Nichole's show today. Didn't stick around long enough to see why or how he "lashed out". Don't care. Nothing could be more boring.

I do have a suggestion, though. If he is "lashing out" by throwing a temper tantrum, just say that. The point of journalism is to convey meaning with the simplest, most specific language possible.

4. I guess it's my age, but

I do find it shocking and unacceptable that a POTUS uses that language on air during "family hours" and it is somehow normalized but only for him. Imagine if ANY Dem did that.
