This is only about which country they get deported to.

It's a separate question as to whether they got due process in determining that they should get deported. With this administration, I wouldn't count on it, but it's a separate question.

At issue here is that once they've determined they are going to deport someone, they can send them to a random country unrelated to anything, and thanks to this decision, they don't even have to give notice and allow an opportunity to object based on likely torture or slavery or other risks with this random third country.
