What happened to MSNBC last night ?? They started showing SkyNews (?) after midnight. OOPS, my bad.

I much preferred reruns of their usual shows, and REALLY REALLY REALLY wish they would rerun All In sometime BEFORE 2AM CST

Sky News is a British free-to-air television news channel, live stream news network and news organisation. Sky News is distributed via an English-language radio news service, and through online channels. It is owned by Sky Group, a division of Comcast. In 2024, Sky News was named Royal Television Society News Channel of the Year, the 17th time it has held the award and the channel's 7th consecutive win. The channel and its live streaming world news is available on its Web site.

Doesn't sound bad, all the NBC channels are owned by Comcast. https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/sky-news/

It sounds like a cost cutting decision.

9. Thanks. That's kind of surprising. You'd think the Murdoch taint would hang around for awhile, like the stench of death.

Because it broadcast from the UK, and to the UK, it was always subject to UK broadcasting regulation, which made it more centrist than his papers, or Fox News (and had relatively little commentary, as opposed to reporting, compared to Fox; if there was any bias, it was more in what in which stories it chose to report, or not to). I don't think you'd have noticed much left or right difference from American broadcast networks.

I guess they were a sort of proto-Fox News, back then. I remember a very pretty, vivacious blonde news anchor named Penny. (Can't remember her last name). But she kept me tuning in, which, I imagine, was the point.

Rachel and Lawrence do too much damage to trump world, so showing them twice is bad for MSNBC corporate.

overnight goes to Dateline reruns on TuneIN MSNBC stream in the wee hours... It may be something else on the actual MSNBC cable and video stream, I'm not sure.

I've been keeping such odd hours for so long I have to check my computer to see what day it is. Computer said Monday (after midnight) so my brain said "Rachel should be on!". Damned sleep disorder.
