There is an old film about a crime confessed to a priest during Confession. It is called "I Confess."

It starred Montgomery Clift who was a fine, if doomed, Hollywood actor. I remember it being a sensitive portrayal of the moral quandary one priest endured when a man admitted committing a crime during a confession.

Given one of today's hot topics, I thought this reference might be appropriate. Sorry no link but it can be obtained on google. My computer skills are inadequate today.

I think George Clooney would like to try. I'm sure Trump can't stand him... CTyankee Wednesday #5

Miscast a lot thanks to the studio system. but still. Sad that he died so young.

What a great movie that was! Judy Garland had a small role and proved herself to be a fine actress. But I think many of those old stars weren't well during the filming.

We just saw it on one of the old movie channels. It has stood the test of time and is as powerful today as it was then. Even more so with the advent of Trump.

I don't think they could do a remake of that film today...
