What the hell is it with the "Thank you for your attention to this matter" bullshit?

I'm referring to Trump's posts.

You know why people say he is insane? Because he's insane.

For some reason, this is irritating the fuck out of me.

If it were anyone else, I'd say "I hope they get help".

With him, I hope he fucking drops dead.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is the kind of passive-aggressive horse shit I expect from an HOA with too much time on their hands...NOT from the POTUS.

But then again, that is Trump punching in his weight class. He really doesn't even belong on the board of directors for a home owner's association let alone in the position he currently contaminates.

It's the kind of thing a manager would say if there is some mundane task that needs to be done. Instead of telling an employee, "Get off your lazy ass and clean up the mess you left on the copier room floor," he instead says "Please make sure that the copy room is neat and tidy. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

It's a passive-aggressive way to get something done.

As far as Trump goes, he puts it on every long screed that he posts. There is no attached task to complete. It's like saying, "You came to my birthday party. Thank you for attention to this matter."
