The details of the reported missile launch are still unclear we haven't seen Iran confirm the attack.

Katz said the military had now been instructed to carry out high-intensity operations against targets in Tehran.
He said:
In light of Irans blatant violation of the ceasefire declared by the President of the United States through the launch of missiles toward Israel and in accordance with the Israeli governments policy to respond forcefully to any breach, I have instructed the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) to continue high-intensity operations targeting regime assets and terror infrastructure in Tehran.

(3,997 posts)Are you saying that there's something wrong or weak about making sure civilians can reach safety while being attacked? It's unfortunate that Ukrainian civilians don't have this protection, but there's no value to having non combatants and women and children exposed - that is certainly not a measure of any moral high ground.
Maybe I misinterpreted your post.

(71,728 posts)The men and women walked around the bombing rubble and bodies as they went to work or the shops.
Even the King and Queen of England got up the morning after a raid and walked the bombed out streets.
The Royal Family refused to evacuate from London to safer parts of England.
They did it to show Hitler he could not break them.
The Brits definitely believed they were taking the moral high ground and were sending
a clear message to the German Nazis.
An ironic footnote as, had that strategy continued they probably would all be dead. They required outside intervention to persevere and move the Nazi focus to defense rather than bombing England. Without that, they'd have been wiped out defiantly walking amongst their rubble.

(34,845 posts)Iran got its ass kicked with little to no ability to fight back. It wouldn't make sense for them to renege and try to keep the war going. At least not right now.
Meanwhile, Bibi has more targets in Iran and he's willing to do anything to get them. Honestly, I think he's unhinged and I don't believe a word he says.

(12,877 posts)Corporal (Cpl.) Eitan Zacks and his girlfriend, Noa Bogoslavsky, were among the five killed Tuesday morning by an Iranian missile strike in Beersheba, the IDF and the Arad municipality announced.
Cpl. Zacks, 18, from Beersheba, was in combat training in the Multidimensional Unit (888).The medic course he was taking as part of his training was held online due to the security situation.
Bogoslavsky, from Arad, was a graduate of Ort Arad High School, according to the city's mayor, Yair Maayan.
In addition to those killed, 20 were wounded in Beersheba as sirens sounded across Israel as part of three large ballistic missile salvos from Iran between 4:45 a.m. and 7:10 a.m.

(12,877 posts)Unless you ignore this fact, which you appear to be doing, your insistence on mistrusting Israel in the same way you mistrust Iran is not credible.
You keep insisting that their deaths are a matter of trust when they are a matter of fact, and then you compare matters of fact to matters of trust. It's a losing argument.

When you have time, perhaps you could look over the thousands of pages listing the Palestinian children killed, starting with newborns - I believe there are hundreds of those.
I did not want to see the same fate befall thousands of Iranian - or Israeli - children. Based on a lie that Iran broke a ceasefire by firing after the ceasefire had started. Or based on any lie. Or even if it were true. No other children should suffer the fate of Palestinian children - or men, women -ever.

https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/article/israel-held-off-on-bigger-iran-strike-after-speaking-to-trump-netanyahu/
Our press is worthless.
Also note that there was a 6-hour period before the ceasefire was to start. Iran fired 3.5 hours into this time period, according to Haaretz. But the IDF official painted this as "hours into the ceasefire" and our stupid press ran with it. No surprise that Trump did too. He is extraordinarily stupid.
