Extraordinary Renditions

The people that wear big black robes to cover up their pockets full of billionaire bucks, otherwise known as SCOTUS, ruled today that the Mango Mussolini can just keep sending undocumented immigrants to countries they are not from or have any connections.
This immediately impacts those waiting in Djibouti, supposedly made up of Vietnamese, Cambodian and Myanmar I think. They are taking them now to their final destination of South Sudan.
South fucking Sudan. For the record the State Dept has a level 4 "no travel" advisory out on South Sudan.
No matter if they are guilty of a crime or not we should not be allowed to just drop people off in a fucking war zone. A place of extreme violence and poverty in which none of these people have any connections or ability to leave the country.

I can't even wrap my mind around this. How is it legal to just drop people off in random places? What the hell are these people supposed to do? This is truly demented and depraved. What the fuck is wrong with us as a country that this is a thing?
Think about it like this: they now have the ability to grab anyone they want and fly them to South Sudan or Libya or DRC that same day and by the time anyone realizes your even gone you are in South fucking Sudan with no money, phone, ID or paperwork of any kind. Given the current situation, they can just say "opps! Our mistake" and that's it. No one can make them get you back and even if they could, you are in South fucking Sudan and I know my ass would be lucky to survive a week.

These are new, different circumstances to most of us who, up to now, lived in a liberal democracy (of generally declining quality over the last decade, but a democracy nonetheless). We'll need to approach this new interpretation of "public space" differently than before.

Bottom line: no one is safe to go out alone. Don't do it, always go with a friend. More than 1 if possible. Improve your chances that someone in your crew won't get kidnapped, so they can inform your next-of-kin that you've been abducted by paramilitary goons.

New channel. New program. Everything's changed.
