We are about to find out how much Bibi and his cult have been lying to us and the rest of the world. "Yellow cake" redux

For how long have we heard that Iran could drop a nuke on Israel or anywhere within weeks or days? Maybe it's been for 30 years or more?

All along, Iran and outside overseers have said not so. Obama made a pretty damn good agreement with which Iran was complying for the most part. Now we are finding out that what Iran was really doing was updating their missel offense system to protect itself from Israeli aggression. Looks like Trump is wavering on whose side to take because Israel as an absolute winner is looking dimmer. Trump wants to be on the side of the winner or the "perceived winner." The the opening to give him a chance to see how the bombing winds are blowing.

In the meantime, Israeli citizens are suffering not to mention the Gazan victims of Bibi's incessant killing of starving women and children. Bibi has succeeded in making the Iranian regime less hated by its people. Time to call in the grown ups with enough courage to sanction Israel for its seemingly unstoppable obsession for occupying and killing Palestinians and other Arabs and taking their land. We are never going to be on the right side of history until we get this right.

I repeat: no nuclear weapons program.

I repeat:.....

As for the concerns, there was nothing new there, per the IAEA chief. They have been reporting this for some time.

So no nuclear weapons program, no new concerns...why exactly did Israel attack now?

"Atomic watchdog says Iran not complying with nuclear safeguards"

The draft for Thursday’s resolution highlights serious and growing concerns since at least 2019 that Iran had failed to cooperate fully with the UN agency’s inspectors.
Tehran has “repeatedly” been unable to explain and demonstrate that its nuclear material was not being diverted for further enrichment for military use, the draft text maintains.

Iran has also failed to provide the UN agency with “technically credible explanations for the presence of [man-made] uranium particles” at undeclared locations in Varamin, Marivan and Turquzabad, it continues.
“Unfortunately, Iran has repeatedly either not answered, or not provided technically credible answers to, the agency’s questions,” IAEA chief Grossi said on Monday. “It has also sought to sanitize the locations, which has impeded Agency verification activities.”

According to Mr. Grossi, Tehran has stockpiled 400 kilogrammes of highly enriched uranium.

“Given the potential proliferation implications, the agency cannot ignore [this],” he told the UN agency’s governing board on Monday.

Nutinyayhoo has been saying ON VIDEO that Iran was "weeks away" since at least 2012. Check out John Stewart on the Daily Show for that. There's plenty of video out there documenting this. I don't recall hearing it 1995-2000 but do recall hearing this in the 2005-now time frame. I'm not gonna waste my time looking for video on that though. Certainly though be my guest to search for it if you wish.

Somehow, I've managed to avoid knowing that he's benn hyperbolizing Iran's nuclear program since 1992.

I also don't watch John Stewart anymore. I find him irritating since he's come back, where I once found him clever and insightful.

Or since 1992, when Netanyahu told the Knesset that Iran was just a couple of years away.

And no one now says Iran is a couple weeks away except the same man singing the same song for 32 years.

Certainly not the experts, professionals or intelligence.

Just Netanyahu. You really think we should put all our fates in the hands of that war criminal and liar?

Some members of the Israeli government have threatened to use nukes; called the Samson Option.

What is Samson Option, Israel's nuclear threat that's no longer a theory?

Tensions between Israel and Iran have escalated sharply after ‘Operation Rising Lion’ — Israel’s largest strike on Iranian nuclear sites since the 1981 Osirak raid. Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks, straining Israeli defence systems and prompting fears of wider conflict.

With Hezbollah mobilising in the north, Houthi threats rising in the Red Sea, and the possibility of a multi-front war looming, Israeli security doctrine is under renewed global scrutiny. At the centre of that attention is the Samson Option, Israel’s undeclared but long-assumed nuclear last-resort policy.

Once regarded as a Cold War-era relic, the Samson Option has re-emerged as a global worry with serious implications for global security, defence markets, and diplomatic stability.

What is the Samson Option?

The Samson Option is widely understood as Israel’s nuclear last-resort strategy: threat of massive retaliation if the country’s survival is at stake. The name is derived from a reference of the biblical figure Samson, who brought down a Philistine temple upon himself and his enemies, an allegory for apocalyptic deterrence.

making a nuke but they are a lot closer now than they would be if they had not created and stockpiled a substantial quantity of weapons-grade enriched uranium (which I don't believe is in much dispute)

That IMO is the elephant in the room that a lot seem to be ignoring - weapons grade enriched uranium has only one purpose and that is to make nuclear bombs or, bring the possessor of such material v close to that point.

They lie that a nuke is two weeks away.
They bomb, supposedly to stop the nuke from being made.
There is no nuke in two weeks....
Ergo, the bombing "worked" and was justified, they will say.

The bombing won't reveal the lie, the bombing truthified and covered up the lie.

...but I'm fairly sure Iran already has nukes. But to use them, dignifies Bibi, which will be a major loss on the world stage. Bibi is trying to get them to use them and they aren't taking the bait. If anything, they are trying to get Bibi to use his nukes. Because once their birds fly, Iran is perfectly justified to use their own. But lets hope it doesn't come to that.
