ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — All the pieces are falling into place for Freddie Lutz, longtime owner of the Arlington staple, Freddie's Beach Bar in Crystal City.

"How many bottles of champagne do you think I’ll need for 2 million people?" Lutz asked reporter Lianna Golden inside the colorful, welcoming establishment on 23rd Street.

"I’d say a couple million," Golden replied.

The WorldPride parade happening on Saturday is about to be one Lutz will never forget. He and his partner of 28 years are tying the knot on a float during all the excitement.

"That is my all-time dream to get married to my partner on a float in a WorldPride parade," Lutz said. "I know so many people, and there would be so many people angry if they weren’t invited to our wedding, so we kept putting it off. This way, I am literally inviting the entire world to our wedding."
