Take a look at the ICE website.. all notices of violent, child molesting immigrants being rounded up and deported. I know lots of immigrants, none are criminals.

50% approval rating for his immigration policies which are basically disappearing people, many are legally here.

So very sorry if my irrational rants offend you but people are disappearing here and I believe it will get worse and maga approval is driving it.

I don't see that happening at all.. I also don't see much change in maga support for the dictator. They're everywhere, but most important, they are the majority of our Congress and Supreme Court.

Only one branch of government now and it wants to get rid of people. One maga may wake up when his son "disappears" but for the most part, they're on board.

Oh, and another thing. Since January military recruitment is up. Now there are many reasons for this: incentives, healthcare, education, wanting to serve your country, etc, etc. But some just want to "fight for trump" and to me that means "fight against Americans"

on the other hand, around 25% of new recruits don't cut it, physically or mentally. But just you wait, Hegseth will lower the standards for the white guys who profess their love of maga. The dictator needs a loyal military.

Unemployment doubling to 8% (of labour force) is an extra 7 million people, for a total of 14 million people. That's about one in 24 of the overall population, one in 12 of the workforce. All of maga will know someone unemployed, might have an extended family member who lost a job. Much harder to overlook. That number of unemployed means business shuttered on Main Street; also hard to sweep under the rug.

Yes, maga is willing to take a hit in the wallet (car prices to rise over $5,000) for the cause. But when they fear for their jobs, that cuts deeper than their hate of the other.

Add on to that disruptions of social security, delayed tax refunds, and skyrocketing produce prices. They will notice and they will not like it one bit.

They already notice the decline in their 401Ks. What happens when their 401Ks have declined 40%?

The only light and hope I have is that we outnumber them. More disapprove than approve, except on immigration and that's slightly weakening. Right now that doesn't seem to matter, and if it does he'll declare Martial Law or something. He already declared a national emergency then went off to golf for 4 days before announcing tariffs.
