A federal judge on Friday ruled that the Trump administration can deport Columbia University graduate student Mahmoud Khalil just a month after his arrest prompted national outrage and marked the start of the federal government’s broader crackdown on foreign students.

Too bad he didn't do the same.

He was warned.

EDIT: Changed "voted for" to "supported" because the point is the same regardless. He helped elect the deplorable that has now decreed he be deported.

He was warned.

Too bad he was too busy fighting against those that were trying to prevent this outcome.

Even as a Jew, I understand that many students protested because they were horrified by the killing.

As a college student, I protested the US fighting in Vietnam. Many older people saw us questioning US actions as supporting the communists and spoke of the VC attacks on South Vietnam. Now, there are never complete parallels between conflicts. The similarity I see here is some equate pro Palestinian protests as supporting Hamas and Trump.

I don't have an issue with protesting against what Israel was doing either, but when he and others took it to the point that they were purposefully hurting Biden/Kamala and uplifting Trump and his MAGAts, that's when they took it too far.

They said they couldn't tell the difference between the two parties or the two candidates, but I bet he damn sure can now.

I have always over qualified statements stating only what was provable.

I’m don’t like the killing but support Israel’s right to exist. The purpose of the group CUAD as written in its purpose is to “Fighting for the total eradication of western civilization.” This was anti US and anti Israel. He supported Hamas. There is video of him calling for armed resistance. He should have every right to protest, but not being a citizen and advocating protesting with calls for violence is shaky ground. Where can you go as a guest on a temporary visa and protest the country you are visiting? It’s not the same as Vietnam protests.
