John Morgan is thinking of starting a third party.

For people like him that feel that he's caught in the middle. He said the problem is gerrymandering. That you're stuck with black or white. And if to tie that to race, which is unclear, the newsman added that last election, he supported Biden, but not Harris. Cryptic.

Anyway, he will consider running as governor after he sees who shows up for the race.

1. Is this John Morgan the lawyer from Morgan and Morgan?

If it is that John Morgan. I have a problem with people who have never been in public service that want to be Gov or President. I am over rich dudes that think they know how to better run a state or the country, simply because they are rich.

That's why I said, it's not clear if the black and white reference ties in with Morgan's feelings about support for DEI. This is Florida, afterall. And there was talk of a covert third party already in existence decades ago. The Republican, the Democratic one and the one where they find common ground. That's the vehicle they used to run right over the community in the nineties when there were land controversies, and big Federal money for roads.

Independents break right, so any third party move is just a spoiler to keep the repukes in office.

I got the feeling it wasn't just because of their conservative affiliation, but because of their pensions.

well, A. that generally means "I voted for Trump, because I could not vote for a Black woman."

Yeah, I get that you probably know that, but I'm so tired of rich white men thinking their voices should be the only ones involved in our national discourse.
