(2,245 posts)Attorney General Holder makes a few very important points here (and all this wording here is mine, not his):
Re: treatment of immigrants that we are seeing, where the administration and Attorney Suck-up Blondie are doing their best to abrogate the right of judicial review/due process for the victims of their kidnapping and extradition
Every American citizen should be afraid, because it wont be long before citizens rights are similarly eroded. The administration (prez in particular) has made no secret of wanting to similarly be able to deport criminal citizens, presumably including anyone deemed to dare oppose this administration.
If we dont fight their treatment of immigrants now and they prevail in deportations without due process, it will very soon be too late to stop expansion of this travesty to citizens. What theyre doing is all about erosion of our rights. It is the path to authoritarianism and exactly what happened in Europe in the 1930s.

(19,011 posts)I wish I could summarize - perhaps there is a transcript for this video.

(8,669 posts)Go to the video's page on their site. Expand the description below the video window. There should be a button for "Show Transcript" which will then pop up in a side window.
I use this all the time as I can read far, far faster than I can listen -- I frequently change the video speed to 1.25 speed or higher for videos that are longer than a few minutes -- and don't have the time to sit and listen to every clickbait-titled video or podcast excerpt out there.
