It’s not “a fender bender!” A fender bender is when there’s minimal damage and you can still drive the car. You bump an airplane: it’s grounded! It goes nowhere until it’s been inspected and approved by the relevant agencies. That in itself is another potential safety hazard because sometimes ground crews do not report “inadvertent“ contact between tugs, trailers, loading ramps, catering trucks, etc. which may actually threaten the integrity of the plane. This is a danger to us all. The Democrat congressmen on board and the other passengers will demand that something be done about it. The Republican congressmen will ask the airline CEOs what they should do.
