As far as the Save Act goes

The Save Act is a bill that already passed the House and is headed to the Senate. Among other things it has a requirement for voting that the last name on your I.D. has to match the same last name on you birth certificate.
Now that will mess with married women a bunch. Their vote may not count.
Whether it passes or not I think their are 3 things women women could do.
1) Not get married.
2) Don't take husband's name if you do get
married.
3) If you have a child don't have the child
take the father's last name.
Maybe it could be the beginning of the end of patriarchy.

take their husband's name when they get married.

When you think about it women taking the names of their husbands is pushed by religion, not spirituality.
