The door is shut and cemented closed on you, Maher.

On edit, I thought he'd included Josh Rogan with a misspelling, but no... this is a journalist "Rogin." So, I give him that at least...

He is obsessed with this woke sh*t. I think with age is brain is turning to mush. Could be the pot. . He's always been known as being a womanizer and sure sounds like a Muslim hater. He misconstrues defund the police. , what is woke, yaps about the deficit yet takes no potshots as to tax cuts for the rich. The real cause of deficits. . Is he lazy , he attacks the libs , yet fails to invite one to rebuke his bs. ...Giving them a chance to tell this version. I suspect he is a coward to have a real debate. .. What is up with this man. Sucking up to corporate America. He sucks up to crooked Bannon( charged with ripping off Maga fools , who paid for his supposedly private effort to build trump's fence. Ripped off the fools for his private gain. DId Maher even challenge Bannon when he talked of the stolen election. Maher is nauseating . why do we watch him..

That always makes me jumpy when I have to contend with it on Fridays.

(no snark to you, Rhiannon1, but JFC it's every other week.)

I won't be watching it, of course. But those of you who are big-time gluttons for punishment might get some perverse enjoyment out of it...

the 1st and 3rd guests you mentioned. Rogin could be worthwhile.

Oh well, his recent 'Real Times' have been really enjoyable. Looking back over the last five shows, his guests have included Dana Carvey (his impersonations were wonderful!), Gavin Newsom, David Sedaris, Gov. Josh Shapiro, Rahm Emanuel, Fareed Zakaria, Sam Stein, Ezra Klein, John McWhorter, Chrystia Freeland, and Jon Tester.

And of course the New Rules segment is always fun.

Thanks!

15. Kid-exploiter Rock already babbled re the dinner date of a week ago
Fri Apr 11, 2025, 03:35 PM

with fellow dinner mates him and Dana WHITE: "Wonderful" because MAHER & KRASNOV focused on points of agreement and they have in common their "deep knowledge of American history/cough" and that both are "reasonable". And MAHER drank a Margarita.

So Kid-exploiter thinks both are "reasonable" and have a deep knowledge of American History. A Comment in the news accounts said, "I know that when I go out with the guys I always have a Margarita/sarcasm."

So MAHER only stuck to things they agreed on, not bringing up the prickly stuff of democracy, conscience, ethics, law, etc. His point became that in actuality his real belief/courage is that conviction can survive getting along for the sake of appearances.

*** DUer SocialDemocrat61 said: "I assume their points of agreement are being anti-vax, hating Muslims, and sexually exploiting women."

I replied: MAHER agrees on border stuff, anti-woke, back-then-'murica, and youths-stoopid. Plus the things you said.

I had no idea that Bannon (and I assume et al) are promoting a 3rd term for prezhole #47. Scary, and he seemed quite confident in this happening. I'm glad that Maher took him to task on this.
