Trump called a cabinet meeting after walking back his tariff plans. It might as well have been held in Moscow

Donald Trump has made no secret of his affinity for Russian president Vladimir Putin’s leadership style, and he got to experience it first-hand Thursday in a cabinet meeting that has been described as “Kremlin-esque.”

Just a day after President Trump backtracked on a disastrous tariff policy that sent global markets into turmoil, cabinet members lined up to massage the president’s ego with sycophantic language that would make North Korean newsreaders blush.

“I think that what you have assembled in your vision is a turning point and an inflection point in American history. And so just being a part of that is the greatest honor,” Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, said, after calling the president “family.”

Kelly Loeffler, head of the Small Business Administration, had little to say about the many small businesses about to be made bankrupt by Trump’s tariff chaos.

The majority of people who were in that room sincerely think that is how it’s always been.

The few who know better are the most dangerous.

McMahon kept botching up her pronouncing of "AI"? (Artificial Intelligence)?

HuffPo:
During her appearance at the summit, McMahon stressed the potential positive impact artificial intelligence could have on educating the nation’s youth, but her message may not have been as effective as it could have been, thanks to one teensy-weensy, itty-bitty little mistake on her part.

Although AI is supposed to rhyme with “they lie,” McMahon repeatedly pronounced it as “A1,” which Gizmodo noted was “just like the steak sauce.”

IDEA- Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, which ensures students with a disability are provided with a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) that is tailored to their individual needs.

She is grossly ignorant and incompetent, but as long as she is an expert at stroking Trump's fragile ego she will keep her job.
