https://bsky.app/profile/kevinmkruse.bsky.social/post/3lmiljnpm5s2gI say this as a historian history will remember you utterly failing to meet the challenge of this moment.
At the rate youre going, Schumer is going to end up somewhere between Chamberlain or Quisling
Chuck Schumer
History will remember April 9, 2025 as Americas actual liberation daythe day that President Trump backed down from his ridiculous tariff fiasco.

(8,388 posts)1. Schumer and Merritt Garland are birds of a feather.
Gutless wonders.

He's complicit.
Chuck, on the other hand, is just losing any relevancy in his position.

So, Chuck, the tariff thing is "over"?
With 145% tariff on China.
That is destroying industry after industry, company after company, day by day.
And a two thousand point drop in the markets again today?
But you say it's over...
That's a relief, eh?

(59,553 posts)3. Schumer really hasn't done much since trump took over.
Now take Bernie, AOC and Booker...that's how it's done.
Make something happen already, don't just rollover, say we're out of power and vote for the rethus CR bill.
I doubt he'll keep his Senate Minority Leader post, hell, AOC might challenge him for his Senate seat in NY DEM primaries.
