What exactly did you find "pro" President Psychopath about the video?

Whether the video or not was overtly pro Trump their history is. And combine that with their long hatred of the Chinese Communist Party, and the source is biased enough that I can't take it as accurate. Plus it's been a week, that's not enough time to have had that impact.

I'm having trouble taking that seriously. Unless you have first hand experience on the floor of a Chinese factory and you want to share those insights.

The source may be biased but it may also be painfully revealing. But everyone is entitled to their own delusion.

The antiquated notion of American Exceptionalism and the current isolationist notion of America First are illusions based in the past.

We don't have any idea what is coming. Everything is speculation at this point.

In recent years China already cut back on what they export to the US, they are already working in Europe to increase their ability to sell there, and the Chinese government can far more easily directly support their businesses than we can.

Tariffs stand at 145%. They will be cutting back here lots more, me thinks.

Enjoy your night.

China has plenty of other places to sell their stuff. There's no chance factories are just going under a day into it.

Hell, plenty of the stuff they are selling we can't source from anywhere else.

Are working months and sometimes years ahead on orders. Those pre-ordered goods are on hold and in some cases canceled. Those in transit, goods for fall, winter and spring 2026 will be hit with charges "off the boat" as soon as they arrive.

China has used deceptive trade practices for years already to bypass surcharges. They ship to another country and alter country of origin information, for example.

None of this changes the fact that America consumers can say goodbye to the fix they get from their shopping addictions. They can also say goodbye to the money that they won't have to spend on junk going forward. To start as evidenced by the ungodly amount of credit card debt many now have and ahead because tariffs are a tax on consumers.

The video alluded to the predicament China is going to find itself in on many levels from the shortage of local Chinese consumers to the international consumers that will disappear.

We have yet to see the effects on the world economy from the insane machinations of President Psychopath and his minions. You can bet that the last thing on his mind is minimizing the damage to the average person in the United States of America.

Factories have already gone under. Shortages will begin.

We won't have to worry about 'buying this' or anything else that we might want or need soon. Because it might not even be available anymore.

That is unless you are an oligarch. Then you can send your personal assistant out looking for whatever it is or for someone who will make it especially for you. At a price, of course.

Too quick a response.

I'm open to being proven wrong, but that'll take a bit of track record--weeks, countable on my hands, not years.
