'Hands Off' rally: Hundreds of thousands of people gather at National Mall to protest Trump administration

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Crowds of people took to the National Mall on Saturday to protest the Trump administration, Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The “Hands Off” rally in D.C. was one of hundreds taking place across the country.

In a sea of black and white signs reading “Hands Off!” were also signs protesting the administration’s abolition of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs and mass cuts to the federal workforce.

“Hands off my job!” one sign stated.

“Refund science,” read another.

WASHINGTON — Rallies in cities across the country today drew hundreds of thousands of protesters in defiance of the Trump Administration. More than ten thousand traveled to the ‘Hands Off!’ rally Saturday on the National Mall.

“I’m here because we all have to stand up for our rights and to defend against what this administration is doing," said protester Debbie Reed.
