and came across a single negative reply on one thread. I clicked through to the persons profile and was surprised to find out he is not a Trump supporter or even a republican. Hes a Green Party member.
Reading his feed there were posts by other Greens, none commenting on the protests or about Trumps tariffs or ICE deporting people. All their posts were attacking Cory Booker and Kamala Harris and Barack Obama. One even accused Booker of staging a fake filibuster.
What the hell is wrong with these people?

(36,652 posts)I know some of them in real life. One is a friend of mine, in real life. He sees things in black and white - no shades of gray. If you compromise on what she sees as moral imperatives, you are on the wrong side, and she won't vote for you even if even if it is clear your positions are far closer to her moral imperatives than the other guy. One friend who used to take this position was an idealist with too little knowledge of the importance of Supreme Court picks. He is now making up for past mistakes when he voted and campaigned) for Nader over Al Gore. Both of these are US citizens. Others I know are acquaintances that I don't know well enough to characterize - other than to confirm that they are human and are not Russians.
Accusing them of being non-human and Russian is no better than Musk insisting that the demonstrators today were paid my George Soros.
