Here's what it looked like in East Tawas, Michigan today...

Packed up the car with neighbors and headed to the protest in East Tawas. Very truthfully wasn’t expecting much of a turnout…maybe 30-50 brave souls. This is deep red country. By an actual head count there was 183 people. Started a little slow but grew quickly.
Plenty of support from passing cars…thumbs up or waving…raised fists in solidarity. Of course, some middle fingers, some very macho truck noises from revving as they went by.
My wife and I volunteered to talk down any hecklers…but surprisingly there were no incidents. We had a blast interacting with ‘our own’ people. Friends were made.

Here are a few pictures of the event.

Bad Axe. More people than the organizers expected. Lotsa a honking cars and only an occasional "Trump" and a middle finger from a passing noisy pick up truck. All in all, it was good! And no rain.
