There is speculation that the Trump administration used Chat GPT to allocate and determine amounts for tariffs to impose on foreign countries. The list of nations is long with many surprises which are US military bases abroad, uninhabited islands in southern Indian Ocean and other extraterritorial locations. Its my opinion places like Heard Island and McDonald Islands which are uninhabited are on the list is evidence that they did use Chat GPT. Chat GPT is fed all this data, lets say from sources like the CIA World Fact Book. Though there are no humans there almost certainly have been mineral surveys of the islands. Chat GPT would probably determine that surveys are evidence of an economy and therefore Chat GPT slapped a tariff on a bunch of penguins. Its the only thing that makes sense other than blindfolding Lil' Marco Rubio and having him throw darts at a map of the world (possible).

(189,865 posts)Jan Mayen in the NORTH Atlantic is barely inhabited too and it got 10%. North of Iceland and East of Greenland.
People from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute do live there on a rotating basis I think.
