Holy crap! Bluesky is adding users like crazy

I wonder exaclty what the sudden burst is. It's gone through burst like this, but most recently it's been hovering about one new user every one or two seconds, right now it's at 4.5 users per second.

There’s a new app called Skylight that’s built on the AT protocol, integrated with BlueSky. It’s supposedly a TikTok clone. You have to sign up for BlueSky to use Skylight. They’re not owned or operated by BlueSky, though, and Mark Cuban invested in their company.

I didn't really think the tariffs and stock market drop would be directly affecting Bluesky user growth like that, but I don't have any other explanation of anything new going on.
