All these firings arent really saving us anything and the layoffs at IRS will likely reduce tax collections by a few hundred billion dollars up to as much as $500 Billion. Musk and Trump are actually costing us money.

(1,253 posts)Every time they intellectualize about the latest abstraction, I start screaming at the TV - how would you like to be one of those people losing, FOR NO REASON AT ALL, their jobs, carriers and everything they worked years to achieve . (all caps for the loudest part)
I find trashed workers, especially non-political civil servants, to be a symbol of a declining democracy. I am breathless because I am so upset that most of the media reports are more worried about WallStreet than about family consequences including family lost (stolen if you ask me) wealth.
