Republicans can pass a bill to nullify the Trump tariffs and override his veto.

But they won’t do such a thing.

Hang the tariffs on every Republican’s neck in the midterms.

They are in on it. I think it is a mistake to let these people off as being afraid.

and the nation would be much better off.
But they won't do that either.
Stupid and complicit is not a very good political strategy.

They could have removed him from office and barred him from ever holding political office, but didn't.

They could have told him he wasn't running for POTUS again in 2024, but didn't.

Frankly, if he went out to the Rose Garden in front of cameras, and declared himself Batman, every elected Republican would refer to him as "President Batman" from this point forward rather than invoke the 25th Amendment or have him Baker Acted. Seriously, that's where we are. Unless he dies soon, the U.S. and world are fucked because the adults in the room won't stand up and say "no more", even though it is WAY past time to do so.

The issue in the House is this provision that may give Johnson the ability to block a vote

Redefining a day seems sketchy to me and there will challenges to this stunt
